Job Description
Menrva Search have partnered with a global fintech company based in Singapore, who are looking to fill their VP Engineering, Client Delivery position. This is a hands-on leadership role where the ideal candidate will manage a diverse team of software engineers across various regional technology centres to develop, customise, improve, deploy and integrate SaaS products with large bank clients.
Requirements
Main Objectives of the Role:
- Recruit, manage, lead and continuously develop all client delivery engineering teams through leadership and collaborative team building;’
- Scale both engineering systems and processes by providing overall strategy and technology direction for application developments and efficiency improvements;
- Develop standards and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met and consistent;
- Drive successful product integration by overseeing delivery and deployment of products from concept to launch;
- Stay abreast of new technologies and issues in the software-as-a-service industry, including current technologies, platforms, standards, methodologies, best practices and change management.
Core Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field;
- Strong organisational leadership skills;
- Solid foundation in software design with working experience in developing customer-orientated platforms;
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player, with an ability to connect with other engineers and developers;
- Proven experience coaching and mentoring globally distributed teams and business partners;
- Experience in a multi-product, multi-application development environment.
