Solution Sales Specialist – Security

We are looking for a technical deal lead to join one of our global telecom and technology giant clients’ Singapore team. The Solution Sales Specialist will be working with security sales and general sales specialists to mainly focus on security opportunity development that result in a consultative and solutions lead focus and customer advocacy.  The ideal candidate must have highly developed skills and experience in customer technical stakeholder management, security solution design and a strong understanding of enterprise operational security.

 
Main objectives of the role:  

  • Lead the sales teams to qualify, build and close opportunities and maintain accurate consulting opportunity pipeline through direct customer business development activities. 
  • Develop consulting project/programs with clients to shape and influence client initiatives.   
  • Work with enterprise and sales teams to ensure Cyber Security solutions are positioned and solutioned for strategic and emerging clients across Asia. 
  • Provide technical consultation on Cyber Security opportunities and client initiatives. 
  • Prepare technical documents in response to requests for information (RFI), requests for proposals (RFP) and solution proposals. 
  • Act as a Cyber Security SME both within the Security team as well as the international organisation across Asia. 
  • Provide technical designs, implementation documents and coordinate key security vendors / partners and client technical stakeholders. 

Pre-Sales:

  • Sales and target driven, assist with technical proposals, work closely with Advisory consultants and Sales leads to define and develop compelling security value. 
  • Help bring together proposals and SOW owning the technical solution components. 
  • Efficiently scope and outline the solution proposals based on key requirements and articulate the design rationale. 

Core skills:  

  • 5+ years of experience in technical customer facing roles; experience working with Security solutions, policies and practices is preferable. 
  • Up to date certifications on one or more relevant technologies is a must.
  • High level of technical expertise and extremely passionate about cyber security with experience in development of HLA (High Level Architecture) and LLD (Low Level Design) of security solutions. 
  • Solution design skills across network, cloud and SaaS space and the ability to clearly present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Solid understanding of cloud & endpoint security, SeCaaS, DevSecOps is a plus. 
  • Proven ability to create and tailor consulting sales assets to suit customer scenarios.
  • Strong experience in shaping client thinking & direction through strategy and business optimization consulting engagements. 
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. 
  • Excellent people and presentation skills.
