Menrva Search is looking for a senior manager level IT professional who has considerable experience in Cloud infrastructure to join one of our leading global insurance clients. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership and problem-solving qualities to lead a team to deliver, deploy, monitor, improve and provide high performing efficient customer focused services. The ideal candidate must have extensive IT knowledge and be familiar with managing service operations in Cloud environment, latest automation tools and ITIL best practices.
Main Objectives of the Role:
- Recruit, manage, lead, evaluate and continuously develop teams through leadership, collaborative team building and by setting SMART goals;
- Develop and deliver strategies and solutions for cloud infrastructure – including servers, databases, storage devices, etc that handle the data necessary for enterprise operations;
- Manage, analyse and evolve an infrastructure platform to support current and future business needs and ensure compliance with security requirements;
- Provide forecasts and budgeting of upcoming infrastructure projects and initiatives;
- Develop standards and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met and are consistent;
- Stay abreast of new technologies, international standards for security, methodologies, best practices, change management and risks.
Core Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field;
- Strong organisational leadership and interpersonal skills;
- Solid knowledge and experience in delivering IT change and transformation;
- Proven experience in designing, measuring and delivering high performing complex IT services and infrastructure in large organisations;
- Experience working in highly regulated environment, with strong supplier and commercial management capability;
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player, with an ability to connect with both in-house and outsourced parties;
- A strong data and metrics-driven approach to team performance management;
- Proven experience coaching and mentoring globally distributed teams and business partners;
- Knowledge of insurance and financial services industry and ITIL best practices.
