Our client is a rapidly expanding technology company, focused on building, architecting and operating data streams, platforms, services and cloud native applications. We are looking for a Head of pre-sales for our client who has extensive experience in Cloud and or Application Development. You will be responsible for defining and delivering cloud adoption solutions and consulting products across the company’s new and strategic accounts. As a pre-sales Head, you will engage with clients to advise on effective solutions and drive the company’s growth strategy.
Main objectives of the role:
- Develop solutions and drive pre-sales activities by working closely with software partners, client deal and delivery teams.
- Create, develop and maintain current and potential client relationships.
- Engage, analyse, present, propose, negotiate and convert qualified prospects into deals.
- Work strategically to realise organisational goals by applying and sharing specialist technical knowledge with others.
- Maintain high quality standards of achieving project goals by focusing on customer needs and satisfaction and by monitoring & maintaining productivity.
- Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products.
Core skills:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or related discipline.
- 8 years of IT experience, preferably in a customer-facing, sales-aligned role such as Consultant, Solutions Engineer or Solutions Architect.
- Strong communication, negotiating, influencing, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem solver with an ability to constantly come up with workable solutions.
- Strong Cloud related technical and analytical knowledge with proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.
- Solid knowledge of modern technology approaches, delivery practices, coding languages and cloud concepts.
