Menrva Search is looking for an experienced technology operations delivery lead to be based in Malaysia for one of its global insurance clients. The ideal candidate must have 15+ years of experience in multi-national organisations, leading complex programs with transformation objectives, management of large-scale delivery responsibilities, ideally from an insurance company, or a shared services / service provider organisation.
Main Objectives of the Role:
- Oversees the running of the Regional Delivery Hub Setup by optimizing and managing the relationship with senior stakeholders and internal technology customers to integrate the technology global operations model regionally.
- Take responsibility for the branch & internal customer P&L of all technology services along with other commercial activities such as approving and validating client contracts, providing financial status, and implementing systems for analysis, verification and reporting financial information.
- Work collaboratively with the customers to solve end-user challenges and issues, ensuring specific policies, practices and procedures are adhered to and highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry specific developments and actively promote constructive team environment by ensuring expertise and best practices are shared across the teams and encouraging a culture of knowledge.
- Lead strategic demand management by forecasting and planning relevant supplied services responding to internal technology demands.
- Work with the board of directors and other executives to establish short and long term objectives, related plans and policies.
- Ensure Service Level Agreement and KPIs of delivery hub are met with timely resolution of tickets with accurate work details.
- Present regular operations status reports to the board of directors and to company staff.
- Coach, mentor, line manage and motivate team members to deliver excellent outcomes.
Core Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of experience and track record in managing large scale IT projects, function and people in multinational organisations.
- Strong understanding of Shared Services, arms-length operating models.
- Experience operating in a commercial IT Account Delivery position, strongly focused on customer satisfaction.
- Experience in leading complex programs with transformation objectives, management of large-scale delivery responsibilities, ideally from an insurance company, or a Shared services / Service Provider organization is preferred.
- Must have strong exposure to the functioning of the program management office, standardization of processes, tools, and associated governance.
- Goal-oriented and experienced in managing multi-cultural and geographical dispersed teams through both direct and influence management.
- Excellent command over English language with a customer-centric mindset and strong collaboration skills with diplomacy and tact is essential.
