To serve our clients who are made up of FinTech, Financial Services, and Enterprise Telcos, we are actively looking for experienced Cloud Engineers to join our growing Consulting team.
Our client is a digital asset firm specialising in high-performance blockchain technologies. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be required to have strong knowledge of the latest technology trends and innovations to be able to recommend creative workable solutions.
Main objectives of the role:
- Lead, design, plan, propose, develop and execute security architectures, policies, procedures, methods and tools to implement automated, fault tolerant and scalable Cloud Infrastructure.
- Work with Engineering and Product teams to perform risk assessment, identify and recommend timely solutions and to continuously improve integration and the security posture of services.
- Align business growth with the firm’s strategic vision by developing effective, reliable and reusable architecture solutions that meet immediate and future project requirements.
- Keep abreast of the latest technology trends to advise, shape, implement and improve security architecture best practices in an evolving environment.
- Contribute to overall application and infrastructure design.
Core skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years relevant experience working with Public Cloud (Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services).
- Strong scripting language knowledge (Infrastructure as Code) with Docker and Kubernetes experience.
- Experience in Cloud Authentication, Access management Services, with exposure to Infrastructure Management tools like Terraform, Ansible.
- Working knowledge and understanding of networking technologies such as LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, load balancers, firewalls etc.
- An ability to drive creation of prototypes and proof of concepts.
- Software development experience with good knowledge of IT security fundamentals.
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Excellent customer service, written/oral communication and presentation skills.
- Team contributor with good interpersonal skills and positive attitude to cope with high pressure work environment.
