Job Description
Menrva Search is looking for a talented Business Information Security Officer to join one of their leading global insurance clients’ team in Singapore. As a BISO, you will combine business acumen with technical knowledge to work closely with Business, Operations and Technology teams. You will collect business requirements and provide advice and oversight to ensure system and process compliance with Information Security policies and standards while continuously monitoring and reporting on risks and documented exceptions.
Requirements
Main Objectives of the Role:
- Manage and coordinate incident response process and resolution activities by assisting teams resolve and close security incident investigations;
- Assist with reviewing and identifying non-compliance, Information Security issues/gaps, areas of improvement and facilitate deployment of solutions that are in line with industry best practice and standards;
- Stay abreast of current threat and cyber security events to provide subject matter guidance across business functions;
- Review vulnerability and patching analysis reports to manage resolution activities by providing escalation path for security issues, incidents and inquiries;
- Provide regular and timely reporting on the status of cyber security and support business during audit reviews and regulatory inspections.
Core Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field;
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, influencing and negotiation skills;
- Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills;
- Cybersecurity risk management experience, e.g. conducting assessments, identifying risks and recommending solutions;
- Knowledge and experience of SDLC, Agile/Iterative, DevOps/DevSecOps and integration with security assessment;
- Familiar with Information Security control areas like Authentication/Authorization, Access Controls, Entitlement, Cryptography, Encryption, Vulnerability Management, Network, Application/System Security;
- Team contributor with good interpersonal skills and positive attitude to cope with high pressure work environment.
