Our client is a well-funded start-up, looking to develop a Blockchain wallet solution to enable gamers to monetise their tokens easier, via a smart device. They are looking for a Chief Technology Officer to develop and improve the technical architecture within a blockchain environment and to support their business goals.
The CTO will be responsible for developing the road map and technical strategies around platforms. They will be leading and directing the tech team, building bridges and networking with Blockchain community.
Main Objectives of the Role:
- Lead the discovery and design of the customer journeys, analyse competition products and determine the firm’s positioning.
- Play a significant role in defining the product roadmap, platform design and features prioritisation.
- Champion growth by delivering a great product platform to enable expansion across markets of choice.
- Lead teams and develop high-performing talent by coaching, mentoring and motivating team members to deliver excellent outcomes.
- Develop meaningful relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders to improve trust, loyalty and experience.
Core Skills:
- Proven experience deploying financial services products end-to-end across mobile app and web2, web3 and blockchain experience highly preferred.
- Familiarity with financial services infrastructure concepts e.g. Payment Gateways, SWIFT network, national retail payment systems, etc.
- Familiarity with crypto and blockchain concepts like Automated Market Makers, DEX, Liquidity Provisioning, etc.
- Proven experience with EVM chains (ERC20, Matic, BSC, Avalanche) and non-EVM chains (Solana).
- Strong ability to lead a diverse team across different nationalities with varying levels of English proficiency.
Technical Experience/Knowledge:
- Web Development – React, Redux/MobX, Typescript/Nodejs, Express.js/Next.js, PHP
- Mobile Development – Kotlin//Swift/Flutter
- Blockchain – Solidity
- Cloud Platform – GCP/AWS
- Database – NoSQL/SQL/Datastore
- Infrastructure – Kubernetes/Docker, CI/CD, DevOps, Architecture management and security.
