Menrva Search has partnered with an established global payments business who are currently operating in more than thirty countries across the globe. We are looking for a director level infrastructure engineer with strong leadership qualities who can lead a team to deliver, deploy, monitor and scale OSI stack. The ideal candidate must have deep knowledge in cloud infrastructure and SDLS processes.
Requirements
Main Objectives of the Role:
- Recruit, manage, lead, evaluate and continuously develop teams through leadership, collaborative team building and by setting SMART goals;
- Scale both engineering systems and processes by defining a long-term infrastructure roadmap and providing overall strategy and technology direction for the company;
- Develop standards and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met and consistent;
- Drive successful and unified delivery of system management processes across various services that are deployed around the globe;
- Stay abreast of new technologies, international standards for security, methodologies, best practices, change management and risks.
Core Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field;
- Strong organisational leadership skills;
- Solid knowledge and experience in system engineering and architecture;
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player, with an ability to connect with other engineers and developers;
- A strong data and metrics-driven approach to team performance management;
- Proven experience coaching and mentoring globally distributed teams and business partners;
- Strong project management skills with experience in multi-product, multi-application development, SRE and DevOps environment;
- Good understanding of (S)SDLC processes and AWS stack.
